In the event of a contradiction between the data contained in E-banking and the documents officially published by the Bank (particularly account statements and transaction notices), the officially published documents shall prevail. By connecting to E-banking, users acknowledge and accept the usual risks related to using the Internet, to the exclusion of any responsibility of the Bank, including the following risks:
• Communication or transmission errors due to technical incidents, particularly in case of a network overload or a power cut-off.
• Misuse by an authorised third party;
• Loss, alteration, or interception of data by an unauthorised third party
Users should be specifically aware that data, including personal data, may be transmitted or consulted internationally. Visitors therefore waive the protection of their data as well as bank confidentiality or have obtained the waiver of the persons concerned holding bank confidentiality in order to access E-banking. In no case may the Bank be held liable for any damage arising out of or related to the use of E-banking, except in case of serious misconduct on its part. The General Terms and Conditions of the Bank and all specific documentation signed in order to gain access to E-banking remain applicable.
